The Text Hub Sponsors Scholastic Book Fair at Houston’s Alcott Elementary

HOUSTON, Texas (November 17-18, 2021) – The Text Hub teamed up with Scholastic Book Fair to provide two books for 200 kids at Alcott Elementary School within the Houston Independent School District. “Seeing the pure joy on the children’s faces when scheming through their chosen books was the absolute highlight of the event,” says Nafis Ahmed, CEO and Co-Founder of The Text Hub. 

The company hopes to make this an annual event to provide and foster the love of reading for students.Additionally, The Text Hub provided bookmarks and candies for all of the children which made the event just a little sweeter. “As we continue to build a culture of literacy and a love for reading, The Text Hub really provided this great experience to support this vision.The best part of the Scholastic Book Fair was witnessing the students’ excitement when they were able to select two free books of their personal interest,” said Ms. Delandra Mickens, teacher specialist at Alcott Elementary.
